Probate Administration

The loss of a loved one is a difficult time.  Byram Law, P.C. works with personal representatives to assist in administering a loved one’s estate following death.  Probate administration is a court proceeding that allows for the distribution of a person’s property – both real estate and personal property – under a will or by intestacy, in essence state law, if the loved one did not have a will.  Not all assets will necessarily be administered through the courts.  Whether they will be administered through the courts via a will or intestacy will depend on how the asset was titled or whether the loved one had the asset in a trust or with a beneficiary designation.
